GILLIG is seeking a highly skilled Material Planner to oversee backflush operations, assess Design releases, and manage warranty procurement in a fast-paced manufacturing setting.
Key Responsibilities- Execute planning tasks using the Syteline ERP system to ensure efficient supply chain management.
- Review Engineering REI releases to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Lead Extended Warranty procurement activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials.
- Manage Distadvantaged Business Enterprise program and reporting to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Track and report on Rework Labor by Supplier to identify areas for improvement.
- Identify operational improvements and waste reduction strategies to enhance internal supply chain efficiency.
- Collaborate with various departments to enhance internal supply chain efficiency and implement process improvements.
- Conduct root cause analysis for issue resolution to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
- Minimum High School Diploma, Bachelor's degree preferred.
- 2 years of experience with Bill of Materials and manufacturing processes.
- Proficient in interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong problem-solving and organizational skills to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Word and PowerPoint to analyze data and create reports.
- Experience with ERP systems is beneficial to streamline supply chain operations.
- Ability to analyze and make decisions based on data to drive business outcomes.
- Excellent communication skills and leadership capabilities to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. to move materials and equipment.
- Mainly office-based work in Supply Chain with occasional visits to manufacturing floor and warehouse environments.
- Regular sitting, standing, walking, occasional kneeling or squatting to perform job duties.
$67,000 - $275,000 / annual salary + premium benefits.
Compensation may vary based on location, role, skills, and experience. Additional benefits may also be included in the total package. Specifics will be provided upon job offer.
