New Oakland Family Centers is seeking a highly skilled Regional Nursing Supervisor to provide oversight of nursing care and supervision of nursing staff in conjunction with the Director of Nursing.
This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong clinical leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and supervision to nursing staff within assigned region, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to organizational policies and procedures.
- Develop and implement best practices in nursing care, including the identification and implementation of evidence-based practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- Manage nursing schedules and coverage for assigned regional sites, ensuring adequate staffing and resource allocation.
- Assist with the hiring and training process of nursing staff, including the development of training programs and materials.
- Monitor and maintain accurate records and documentation, including patient charts and staff performance evaluations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with directors, supervisors, and staff at all levels, ensuring clear and concise communication of organizational goals and expectations.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing and current RN licensure required.
- Minimum 3 years of clinical experience as a site nurse at New Oakland Family Centers or a similar organization.
- Excellent clinical leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work well with diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults.
- CPR, First Aid, and CPI certification required.
