About the Role

Kaiser Permanente is seeking a skilled Social Work Therapist to join our team in a dynamic and patient-centered environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services for adult and child members with a range of mental health needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Conduct outpatient psychotherapy sessions with individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Develop and lead psychoeducational classes and groups to support member well-being.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of member treatment and progress.
  • Participate in departmental program development, implementation, and evaluation.
Requirements
  • Masters degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, or a related field from an accredited college or university.
  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (California) or equivalent licensure.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of social service agencies, state regulations, and professional board standards.
  • Ability to work in a Labor/Management Partnership environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous post-license experience in a psychiatric treatment team setting.
  • Experience in crisis intervention, individual, and group psychotherapy.
  • Spanish speaking proficiency.
