Job Overview

Vdart Inc is seeking a highly skilled Carpenter to join our team on a large-scale ground-up Engineering-Procurement-Construction project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Read and understand drawings and specifications to contribute to creating as-built drawings
  • Strong working knowledge of job site safety with ability to thoroughly evaluate job hazards and complete pre-work task planning
  • Ability to work in high elevation up to 80 ft. high
  • Must have strong interpersonal skills, along with the ability to interact with all levels of management
  • Extensive knowledge in using hand and power tools
  • Ability to think outside the box and find innovative solutions
Requirements
  • Minimum 5+ years verifiable experience as a Journeyman Carpenter
  • Ability to produce parts lists and work plans based off drawings or field walks
  • Ability to produce as-built drawing for work performed
  • Ability to complete job scopes outside of normal core competencies as required
  • Lead the execution of small construction projects
  • Communicate schedule estimates, progress, and impacts
  • Experience operating scissor lifts, boom lifts and forklifts
  • OSHA - 10
