Job Title: DevOps/SRE Engineer

We are seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team at Certec, Inc. as a key member of our cloud infrastructure team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure solutions in an AWS environment.
  • Work closely with blockchain engineers to optimize the performance and security of distributed ledger technologies (DLT).
  • Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines using GitLab for efficient and reliable code integration and deployment.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance using tools like Grafana, Prometheus, and Datadog, and proactively address any issues.
  • Ensure the high availability and reliability of applications across the entire technology stack.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years in DevOps, TechOps, or Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), with at least 5 years focused on AWS.
  • Proven experience in microservices architecture and containerization using Docker and Kubernetes in a production environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems, command-line tools, scripting (Bash, Python), and configuration management.
  • Experience working with databases like MongoDB, PostgreSQL, and DynamoDB.
  • Hands-on experience with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Splunk, Datadog, NewRelic, and the ELK stack in cloud environments.
  • Skilled in infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and/or CloudFormation.
  • Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to develop creative and practical solutions.
  • Proven experience in designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to design and implement complex but manageable automated infrastructure solutions.
  • A desire to share knowledge, mentor, and collaborate as part of a team.
  • AWS certifications are a plus.

Experience with blockchain technologies is preferred but not required.
