Key Responsibilities:
  • Troubleshoot and resolve OS and Applications issues, escalating as needed
  • Troubleshoot and resolve dataflow issues, escalating as needed

  • Dissect complex issues and generate concise, accurate status reports
  • Generate metrics and reports for submission to customers using disparate data sources
  • Generate SOPs for use by the WatchDesk team and/or customers
  • Lead small teams of WD shift personnel and provide guidance to teammates
  • Maintain schedules as required
Requirements:
  • A current Top-Secret/SCI government security clearance with polygraph is required
  • Experience with Systems troubleshooting, including hardware and software, Linux, Analysis capabilities, Communications, Java/Scripting in ruby/python/bash, SOP development
  • Familiarity with Rancher, Ansible, Elastic Search, Redis, Solr, Data Flow, Docker, and Kubernetes
  • Linux skills, Nagios, Grafana, Prometheus
  • Experience with RTRG Mission analytics operation and use
  • Experience monitoring OS and Applications
  • Ability to read and interpret complex graphs of system information
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Work Schedule:

The selected candidate must be available to work a two-week cycle, equaling 84 hours, with 0600 to 1800 shifts. The schedule includes one cycle rotation, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, every other Saturday. A short period of time will be required to obtain all necessary accesses for the systems, during which the selected candidate will work days.

A shift premium of 8% is authorized for evenings.

The work site is located in the Greater Ft. Meade, MD area.
