Position Overview:

Role Summary:
The Evening Custodian will be responsible for performing cleaning duties and operating various cleaning equipment to maintain the assigned facilities. This position is essential for upholding the standards of cleanliness and safety within our schools.

Key Responsibilities:
- Execute daily cleaning tasks to ensure a hygienic environment.
- Operate cleaning machinery and equipment effectively.
- Maintain compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
- Assist in the upkeep of building systems and structures.
- Support grounds maintenance and custodial services.

Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday; 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM

Compensation:
- Salary: $22.52/hr + $0.40/hr shift differential
- Hiring Bonus: $250 after probationary period (120 days); $250 after one year
- Additional $0.10/hr for each level of boiler license obtained.

Qualifications:
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs occasionally and 50 lbs regularly.
- Extended walking and physical stamina required.
- Capability to work with cleaning chemicals safely.
- Previous experience in custodial or building maintenance preferred.

Employment Details:
This is a full-time position (40 hrs/week) with eligibility for benefits as negotiated with Union Local 70 and District 112. The role is also eligible for overtime and compensatory time.
