Job Summary:

The Sous Chef is a key member of our culinary team, responsible for creating menu items and food preparation consistent with expectations of restaurant quality meals. This role requires a high level of culinary expertise, attention to detail, and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menu items and food preparation plans to meet the expectations of our customers.
  • Supervise and coordinate the preparation and presentation of food in the kitchen.
  • Ensure that all food is prepared and presented to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Manage kitchen inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and implement new menu items and promotions.
  • Ensure that all kitchen staff are trained and equipped to perform their duties safely and efficiently.

Requirements:
  • Professional cooking experience, preferably in a fine dining establishment.
  • Prior sous chef experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
