Senior Advanced Practice Provider

POSITION SUMMARY:
Franciscan Physician Network is in search of a skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to fulfill the increasing needs of our program. This is a well-established, high-performing program recognized for its excellent patient outcomes and high provider satisfaction levels. The program enjoys a strong rapport with hospital administration.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will oversee inpatient census patients, independently admit patients, and provide remote cross-coverage. This role offers opportunities for clinical advancement and autonomy within a nocturnist setting.
IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:
The preferred candidate will possess experience in inpatient care, demonstrating a commitment to clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Certified Nurse Practitioners in Acute Care, Family, or Adult/Geriatric specialties are welcome to apply, as are Certified Physician Assistants with hospitalist experience. Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with physicians and staff are essential for delivering top-quality patient care.
WORK SCHEDULE:
- Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Inpatient experience is preferred, but other backgrounds will be considered.
- Experience with central line placement and intubation is advantageous.
- Open ICU environment.
- Participation in Code Blue responses.
- Membership in the Rapid Response Team.
- Strong support from specialist colleagues.

- Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
- Heart Failure
- Pneumonia
- Renal Failure
- Sepsis
