Key Responsibilities:

  • Comprehensive Medical Assistant duties, including patient preparation, vital sign measurement, record-keeping, and equipment management.
  • Patient Care Coordination: Lead the coordination of patient care, ensuring a seamless healthcare experience.
  • Medication Management Expertise: Administer medications with precision and expertise.
  • Advanced Procedures: Assist providers in complex medical procedures.
  • Quality Improvement Champion: Identify opportunities for process enhancement and patient care optimization.
  • Referral and Insurance Expert: Manage intricate cases and ensure patients receive specialized care.
  • Patient Advocate: Provide guidance and support during the healthcare journey.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Accredited Medical Assistant Program degree.
  • Current/active CMA, CCMA, or RMA certification.
  • 2+ years of experience in a medical office or healthcare setting.
  • Proficiency in using Athena or an Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
