Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team in a collaborative care model. This role will work closely with residents, fellows, attendings, and staff to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide primary and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization of critically ill patients, and teaching of residents and medical students.
  • Assume responsibility for planning, implementation, and evaluation of medical and nursing care.
  • Collaborate with PCCs, staff nurses, and discharge coordinators to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Develop and implement education programs for staff and patients.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing.
  • Current License as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of practice.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) / Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) Certification.
  • Prescriptive Authority in the state of practice as outlined by the State Board of Nursing.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of related working experience.
  • Family Nurse Practitioner or Adult/Geriatric Nurse Practitioner ANCC or AANPCP Certified.
Working Conditions

This role requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods, stoop, bend, reach, and grab with arms and hands. The incumbent will work in a patient care area, exposed to blood, body fluid, and tissue.
