Job Description

Regency Integrated Health Services seeks a skilled Registered Nurse to serve as a Charge Nurse in our facility. As a key member of our healthcare team, the RN Charge Nurse will play a vital role in ensuring the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychological well-being of each resident.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting in the provision of quality care to residents, observing and assessing their condition, documenting and reporting changes, and implementing care plans as directed. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a skilled nursing facility and be an active Registered Nurse in the state of Texas in good standing.

Responsibilities
  • Observe, assess, document, and report resident condition/changes
  • Assure implementation of care plans as directed
  • Administer medications as prescribed
  • Conduct rounds with physician and record visits in clinical records
  • Perform narcotic reconciliation with incoming and outgoing shifts
  • Identify significant changes in the condition of residents and take necessary action per facility policies and procedures
  • Oversee and monitor aides
  • Initiate and complete Incident and Accident Reports per facility policy
  • Discharge residents per facility policy
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive clinical records
Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must have:

  • A completed RN program from an accredited vocational school, college, or university
  • An active Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas in good standing
  • Experience working in a skilled nursing facility (preferable)
