Position Overview This is a remarkable opportunity for an experienced financial leader to contribute significantly while advancing our mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services to underserved populations. As the CFO, you will oversee the financial management and regulatory compliance of our organization. You will be an integral part of the executive leadership team, providing strategic financial insights and guidance on key organizational decisions. Your role will involve collaborating with the CEO and business unit leaders to develop, monitor, and assess the overall corporate strategy, focusing on financial performance, working capital, and enhancing stakeholder value. Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury functions.
  2. Formulate and execute financial strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
  3. Ensure adherence to all legal requirements by reviewing existing and new legislation, enforcing compliance, and advising management on necessary actions.
  4. Prepare and present financial reports to the board of directors, stakeholders, and executive team.
  5. Oversee and manage the organization's cash flow effectively.
  6. Establish and maintain internal control systems to protect the organization's financial assets.
  7. Develop annual budgets and forecasts, managing them appropriately.
  8. Ensure compliance with GAAP and relevant financial regulations for reporting.
  9. Collaborate with the finance director to prepare and submit necessary reports in a timely manner.
  10. Work with the executive team to create plans for the operational infrastructure to support the organization's growth objectives.
Qualifications:
  1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  2. CPA certification is highly desirable but not mandatory.
  3. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior financial managerial role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
  4. Demonstrated expertise in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
  5. Strong understanding of GAAP and other relevant financial regulations.
  6. Exceptional leadership abilities with a talent for motivating and guiding teams.
  7. Strong analytical skills with the capability to translate strategic vision into operational models.
  8. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  9. Able to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
  10. Proficient in financial software and MS Office applications.
