Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage a team of field employees to ensure efficient and effective completion of tasks and projects.
  • Develop and implement plans to meet short-term objectives and achieve business goals.
  • Conduct quality assurance programs and performance audits to ensure high-quality work and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide guidance and coaching to employees to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Manage time and attendance, safety, fleet, and other aspects of performance to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate and supervise the daily activities of the business support, technical, or operations team.
  • Identify and resolve operational and technical problems within a team using defined processes, policies, and procedures.
  • Work within budgetary and financial objectives set by the next level of leadership.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree or higher in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • 10 years of professional-level experience in a utility or utility-related field.
  • Experience managing field employees in a union environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency in Excel and Microsoft Office suite is required.
  • Familiarity with SAP and payroll software is desirable.
  • Experience with OSHA, safety procedures, and training is preferred.
