Position Overview: Echocardiography Specialist

Join our team at Quality Talent Group as an Echocardiography Specialist, where you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with a flexible schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
As an Echocardiography Specialist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of echocardiographic procedures, including:

  • 2D, M-mode, color flow, pulsed, and continuous wave Doppler examinations on adult patients.
  • Assisting physicians with transesophageal echocardiograms, contrast studies, dobutamine stress tests, and other echocardiographic evaluations.
  • Training and mentoring staff from other departments in echocardiography techniques.

Work Schedule:
This position offers a casual/on-call schedule, with a requirement to work Fridays and potentially other days as needed.

Qualifications:
To be considered for the Echocardiography Specialist role, candidates must meet the following criteria:
  • Completion of an accredited AMA or equivalent allied health program in diagnostic medical cardiac sonography.
  • Current Cardiac Registration through ARDMS is required.
  • Vascular registration is preferred.
  • Valid CPR Certification is mandatory.
  • A minimum of two years of practical experience in Echocardiography is essential.
