Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist - Neonatal Intensive Care

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Lehigh Valley Hospital. As a key member of our respiratory therapy team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our critically ill neonates.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory therapy methodologies and techniques to patients in the NICU and PICU
  • Operate and troubleshoot diagnostic equipment to ensure accurate patient assessments
  • Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized patient care plans
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
  • 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in NICU or PICU
  • Current certifications in BCLS, PALS, NRP, and ACLS
  • PA state license as a Respiratory Care Practitioner
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory Care or related field
  • Experience with EPIC EMR system
