MWH Constructors is seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team in the greater Monterey Area. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for providing single-point field inspection of Contractor's work, monitoring and recording work scope, and ensuring compliance with contract documentation and test plans.
Key Responsibilities- Provide field inspection services to ensure compliance with contract requirements
- Monitor and record work scope, including daily quantities completed and resources utilized
- Review and analyze construction issues and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure master As-built drawing information is maintained by Contractor
- Attend Weekly Progress Meetings with Contractor and review progress to planned schedule
- Develop project-specific quality control and assurance documents and standards
- Coordinate field testing and inspections in accordance with Contract Documents
- Document compliance and non-compliance with established quality control and quality assurance procedures
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction industry and inspection experience
- Thorough understanding of construction safety, quality control, and general contract management requirements
- 10+ years of relevant construction industry and inspection experience
- Experience with large water and wastewater treatment plants
- ICC Certification in Electrical/I&C Inspection
- Experience with PGE and Green Book knowledge
- Total hourly rate: $89.24 per the General Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD)
