Job Summary

MWH Constructors is seeking a skilled Electrical Inspector to join our team in the greater Monterey Area. As an Electrical Inspector, you will be responsible for providing single-point field inspection of Contractor's work, monitoring and recording work scope, and ensuring compliance with contract documentation and test plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide field inspection services to ensure compliance with contract requirements
  • Monitor and record work scope, including daily quantities completed and resources utilized
  • Review and analyze construction issues and recommend corrective actions
  • Ensure master As-built drawing information is maintained by Contractor
  • Attend Weekly Progress Meetings with Contractor and review progress to planned schedule
  • Develop project-specific quality control and assurance documents and standards
  • Coordinate field testing and inspections in accordance with Contract Documents
  • Document compliance and non-compliance with established quality control and quality assurance procedures
Requirements
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant construction industry and inspection experience
  • Thorough understanding of construction safety, quality control, and general contract management requirements
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of relevant construction industry and inspection experience
  • Experience with large water and wastewater treatment plants
  • ICC Certification in Electrical/I&C Inspection
  • Experience with PGE and Green Book knowledge

  • Total hourly rate: $89.24 per the General Prevailing Wage Determination (PWD)
