Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Staff DevOps Engineer to join our CDL/SLS team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, building, and operating reliable, secure cloud infrastructure. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring that applications are production-ready, scalable, and reliable.

Your Impact

  • Contribute to the success of SRE and DevOps teams
  • Develop expertise in new technologies and tools
  • Work with developers, researchers, data scientists, and security experts to design and implement cloud infrastructure
  • Design, build, and operate robust cloud infrastructure using Terraform, Kubernetes, and other tools
  • Ensure that applications are production-ready, scalable, and reliable
  • Develop tools and automation frameworks to streamline deployment and monitoring
  • Participate in on-call rotation and lead root cause analysis of critical business and production issues

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience as an engineer in Infrastructure, Operations, DevOps, or System Engineering
  • 3+ years of experience building high availability, scalable cloud-native applications on GCP
  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience or military experience
  • Expertise in configuration management with a framework such as Ansible, Terraform, or Helm
  • Passion for infrastructure and monitoring as code
  • Solid experience in container workloads and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with PKI concepts, Networking concepts, and Linux administration
  • Proficiency with programming languages like Golang or Python, along with shell scripting to automate tasks
  • Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex distributed systems handling high volume transactions
