Job Description
As a Hazardous Materials Technician (Environmental Technician II), you will play a vital role in ensuring environmental responsibility and sustainability. You will be responsible for the safe handling, consolidation, treatment, storage, packaging, transportation, and disposal of non-hazardous waste.
Primary Responsibilities- Segregate and package materials for transport, accurately completing all required paperwork in accordance with regulations and company policies.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and storage of hazardous materials, adhering to strict regulatory guidelines and company procedures.
- Strictly follow all Health & Safety/Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures outlined by the company.
- Operate equipment and machinery safely and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all safety protocols.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to waste handling and disposal activities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to environmental responsibility and a keen attention to detail. A valid driver's license is required, and experience in hazardous materials handling is preferred but not mandatory.
