Job Overview:

In partnership with the Imaging Services Directors at Froedtert Health, this role is accountable for the comprehensive oversight, administration, and governance of the designated Site and/or Modality Section. This position leads the assigned personnel and operational procedures to ensure high-quality patient care is delivered. Additional responsibilities may be assigned as necessary.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

A proven track record and expertise in operational management, along with a minimum of 4 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, NM/PET Technologist, or Sonographer, depending on the specific modality area, is essential.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

A Bachelor's degree in Health Science, Health Administration, or a related discipline is mandatory. Relevant prior experience in healthcare management or supervisory roles may be accepted in lieu of a degree.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:

Proficiency in utilizing standard office equipment such as calculators, copiers, computers, printers, and fax machines. Willingness to travel to various locations where modality equipment and staff are situated, as well as attend multiple meetings. Capability to operate general medical equipment, including first aid tools. Proficiency in using patient mobility aids such as carts, wheelchairs, and lifting devices. Understanding and operational knowledge of assigned Modality Imaging equipment is crucial. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are required. Must possess strong reading, writing, and mathematical skills, including metric proficiency. Excellent interpersonal abilities are essential.

LICENSURE REQUIREMENTS:

Certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or relevant modality certification is required. A current Wisconsin state license as a Radiographer is also necessary.
