ReqOverflow is seeking a seasoned Director of Med-Surg RN to lead our medical-surgical nursing team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating the delivery of high-quality patient care in our Med-Surg department.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement strategies to enhance patient care and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient flow and effective care coordination.
- Lead research projects and develop programs to improve patient outcomes and hospital performance.
- Recruit, select, and develop a high-performing team of nurses and support staff.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Affirmative Action/EEO practices.
- At least 2-3 years of recent acute care supervisor/manager experience.
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification or BCLS Instructor required within 30 days of employment.
- Registered Nurse or Advanced Nurse Practitioner certification.
