Quality Assurance Specialist

Actalent is seeking a Quality Engineer to join our team in Gallatin, Tennessee. As a Quality Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Participate in the review of design, manufacturing, test, and supplier documentation to ensure that all requirements are fulfilled.
- Support the operations group to which you are assigned, providing visual aids and inspection analyses to assist the inspection process.
- Review quality trends associated with your assigned product or program and participate in the generation and implementation of defect-reduction programs.
- Assist in identifying the root causes of problems and instituting corrective actions, as well as verifying effectiveness.
- Interact with representatives from various functional groups, including design engineering, manufacturing engineering, purchasing, and production and inspection personnel.
- 5+ years of experience in automotive quality.
- Supplier quality experience.
- APQP knowledge.
- Problem-solving skills.
