Position Overview

The University System of New Hampshire is seeking dedicated and skilled candidates for the role of Nursing Simulation Lab Support Specialist. This position is essential in enhancing the educational experiences of nursing students through hands-on simulation activities.

Role Summary
The Nursing Simulation Lab Support Specialist will collaborate with a diverse team of faculty and staff to create an inclusive and supportive learning environment. Under the guidance of nursing faculty, the individual will assist in various simulation learning experiences designed to develop nursing competencies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Engage with students during their lab assignments to facilitate learning.
  • Assess and provide feedback on student assignments.
  • Support laboratory operations, including the setup and cleanup of learning activities, managing supplies, and offering assistance to both students and faculty.
  • Contribute to the planning, execution, and assessment of simulation exercises and educational resources in partnership with nursing faculty.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty to ensure that student learning experiences align with course objectives.

Qualifications
Required:
  1. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
  2. Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow instructions effectively.
  3. Proven interest and experience in promoting cultural competency and diversity.
Preferred:
Experience in clinical teaching or mentoring.
