We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Senior Field Technician to join our team at ECS Limited. As a key member of our Field Services department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and safety of construction materials on our projects.
Key Responsibilities- Field Activities: Conduct on-site observations, testing, sampling, and inspections of construction materials, including soils, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt, and structural steel placement.
- Testing Procedures: Perform routine field tests using various methodologies and testing equipment, adhering to industry standards and compliance.
- Data Collection: Collect and analyze data from sampling, test results, and inspections, and prepare detailed field reports documenting site observations.
- Communication: Maintain daily communication with site contractors, project managers, and other team members, ensuring seamless collaboration and information sharing.
- Training and Development: Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in construction materials testing and geotechnical engineering.
- 2+ years of experience in construction materials testing or a related field.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Current basic level certifications and willingness to obtain additional advanced certifications.
- OSHA 10 certification (a plus).
- Ability to lift 40-70 lbs multiple times a day or occasionally lift 85 lbs to waist height.
- Valid driver's license and insurance.
- Strong communication and math skills, with proficiency in electronic devices and MS Office.
