Job Summary

Rehab America is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist Physical Therapists in developing and implementing treatment plans for patients with injuries or disabilities.
  • Administer various physical therapeutic treatments, including modality treatments, therapeutic exercises, and gait training.
  • Record patient progress and maintain accurate medical records.
  • Provide technical direction and instruction to Physical Therapy Assistant students, technicians, and attendants.
  • Counsel and teach patients and their families on the use of assistive devices and exercise techniques.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree from a Physical Therapy Assistant program.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of employment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Two years of experience working as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

The Physical Therapist Assistant will work in a fast-paced healthcare environment, interacting with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. The position requires flexibility, adaptability, and strong communication skills.
