Job Summary

The Operations Team Member is responsible for providing exceptional service to Sunland Logistics Solutions, Inc. customers by utilizing in-depth knowledge of customer products, procedures, and processes in a safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Product Management: Count and manage product inventory to ensure accurate and efficient order fulfillment.
  • Palletization and Packaging: Stack bags of product by hand on to pallets to the correct stack height level and hand wrap pallets and some machine wrap.
  • Housekeeping and Maintenance: Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
Requirements
  • Physical Demands: Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 lbs.
  • Cognitive Abilities: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide, as well as read, write, and speak English fluently.
  • Communication Skills: Respond promptly and professionally to customer needs, and identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Teamwork and Adaptability: Balance team and individual responsibilities, and consistently be at work and on time.
Education and Certifications
  • Education: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals.
  • Certifications: South Carolina License or equivalent.
Work Environment

The work environment is fast-paced and dynamic, with frequent exposure to warehouse areas and the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields and foot protection.
