Job Overview:

The individual will be responsible for designing and delivering coursework in a dynamic, innovative manner that aligns with the institution's Core Values, demonstrates an understanding of culturally responsive pedagogy, and reflects expertise in the educational field. The candidate is expected to adhere to professional standards for faculty as outlined by institutional policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver courses in accordance with the established schedule and adhere to the approved course outlines and syllabi as determined by the Division faculty and overseen by the Associate Dean/Director.
  • Teaching assignments may occur across various campuses or off-site locations and may include evening and weekend classes. Online instruction is not currently being offered.
  • Potentially teach Dual Credit courses.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Uphold all responsibilities and maintain standards in alignment with institutional policies, procedures, and Core Values.


Work Environment and Physical Requirements:
This role is primarily sedentary, requiring the exertion of up to 10 pounds of force occasionally, with minimal physical activity required. The position involves sitting for extended periods, with occasional walking and standing as necessary. Typical tasks include talking, hearing, seeing, grasping, and performing repetitive motions, as well as occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and reaching. The work environment is generally free from unpleasant conditions or hazards.


Qualifications:
Candidate must possess an Associate's degree in a relevant field, or hold current licensure as a Journeyman Plumber in the state.

Note: This position is Security Sensitive, and candidates will undergo a criminal background check.
