About the Role

This position plays a critical role in ensuring the effective installation and operation of our lighting control systems. As a Field Support Specialist II, you will work closely with internal and external stakeholders to troubleshoot issues, provide training, and ensure that system installations meet customer expectations.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform on-site startup, troubleshooting, and end-user training for lighting control systems (55% of time)
  2. Provide expert support to internal and external customers regarding field applications of our products (30% of time)
  3. Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to deliver exceptional service (10% of time)
  4. Offer engineering support and communicate effectively with cross-functional teams (5% of time)
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An Associate's degree or technical degree, or equivalent experience
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field
  • Strong computer skills, including email, spreadsheets, word processing, and data entry
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to read and interpret plans and specifications
  • Experience with low and high voltage systems, as well as electrical schematics
  • Familiarity with basic electrical components and principles
