Emergency Department Technician

At NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital, we are seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Department Technician to join our team. As a valued member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and support to our patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide basic patient care and assist with daily living activities under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
  • Collect data elements and communicate observations and information obtained using various methods and tools to the Registered Nurse.
  • Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean, and healthy environment.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma or Equivalency
  • Current BLS certification from American Heart Association required prior to start date
  • At least one (1) year experience as an EKG Technician, Nursing Attendant, or equivalent
