About the Role

The Financial Controller will be responsible for overseeing daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.

They will participate in regular tax audits and payroll, prepare budgeting reports and forecasting revenue, manage month-end and year-end closing, and monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily transactions, including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger and bank reconciliations.
  • Participate in regular tax audits and payroll.
  • Prepare budgeting reports and forecasting revenue.
  • Manage month-end and year-end closing.
  • Monitor the daily performance of the accounting department.
Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or relevant degree. A Master's degree is a plus.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a financial controller, accounting supervisor, or senior accountant.
  • In-depth understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Familiarity with financial accounting statements and experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.
  • Hands-on experience with accounting software packages, like FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary of $80,000 - $90,000 per year, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401k+ match, flexible work schedule, and a generous CTO policy.
