Responsibilities
- Determine the duration of a project and manage resources effectively to meet deadlines.
- Analyze project plans and specifications to identify what is needed for a project and create bid proposals.
- Solicit subcontractor and/or supplier information and pricing to ensure accurate estimates.
- Assign responsibilities for estimating team members on each project and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Calculate the cost of electrical constructions based on reviewing and evaluating available documents.
- Analyze project for value engineering options while considering specific job conditions that may affect labor and material to be purchased and installed.
Requirements
- 5+ years of electrical estimating experience with a proven track record of delivering accurate estimates and managing projects.
- Advanced skills in MS Office and Industry Estimating software.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to prioritize and manage time for yourself and others, as well as lead and develop your team.
