We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Lead to join our team at Children's National Hospital. As a key member of our Clinical Resource Management department, you will be responsible for leading and directing the activities of our nursing staff, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct the activities of the Clinical Resource Management department, ensuring the highest level of patient care and satisfaction.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and reduce costs.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of care.
- Provide guidance and support to nursing staff, including training and development opportunities.
- Monitor and evaluate department performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing required; Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year of pediatric experience in a comparable setting.
- 1 year of demonstrated nursing leadership experience.
- Familiarity with software such as Microsoft Office and Windows environment.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Fluent in medical management criteria such as MCG and/or InterQual.
- Registered Nurse in District of Columbia.
