As a Radiologic Technologist at UNC Health Care, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care by performing radiological imaging procedures and analyzing diagnostic data.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and perform radiological imaging procedures, including X-ray imaging, under close supervision.
- Read and comprehend imaging orders, engaging with physicians when necessary to ensure accurate and safe procedures.
- Interview patients to understand risk factors and guide them through the examination process, applying subject matter expertise and cultural competency.
- Upload imaging results into the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and record information into the Electronic Medical Recordkeeping (EMR) system.
- Must be attending an accredited program in Radiological Technology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
