Job Summary

We are seeking a Dietary Assistant to join our team at The Amberleigh, a premier retirement community in Williamsville, NY. As a Dietary Assistant, you will assist chefs in food preparation tasks, complete dishwashing tasks, and maintain standards for dining services to the residents.

Responsibilities
  • Assist chefs in food preparation tasks, as assigned
  • Complete dishwashing tasks and schedules for efficient dining service operations
  • Maintain standards for dining services to the residents, including efficient meal service delivery, customer service, and cleanliness of the dining room and kitchen
  • Assure serving meals to residents within scheduled time frames
  • Report problems, concerns, and issues observed with food service and communicate them appropriately
  • Observe changes in resident status, needs, or preferences and communicate them appropriately
Requirements
  • One to two years' experience in a similar position preferred
  • Enjoy providing exceptional customer service and care to our senior residents
  • Appreciate the value of being a dependable and responsible member of the team
  • Be open-minded and willing to listen to and share new ideas
