Job Summary

As a skilled Antepartum Registered Nurse, you will provide specialized care to expectant mothers with high-risk pregnancies. Your responsibilities will include assessing maternal and fetal health, administering treatments, collaborating with healthcare teams, and educating patients. This role is crucial in ensuring the well-being of both mother and baby throughout the antepartum period.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of maternal and fetal well-being, including monitoring vital signs, fetal heart rates, and uterine activity.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and other treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers to support maternal and fetal health.
Collaborate with obstetricians, perinatologists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for antepartum patients.
Educate patients and their families on prenatal care, pregnancy complications, and self-care techniques to promote optimal outcomes for both mother and baby.

Requirements

Current RN license
BLS (other certifications as required by facility)
2 years of recent Antepartum experience
Strong communication and adaptability skills
