**Role Overview:**

The University of Southern California is seeking a seasoned Assistant Director of Advancement Communications to join our team. As a key member of our Advancement Communications team, you will be responsible for creating and implementing strategic communications plans to promote the university's goals and objectives.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop and implement comprehensive communications plans to support principal, planned and/or corporate and foundation gifts of $1 million and above.
  • Write and edit high-quality content that showcases the university's achievements and impact.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and prospect managers to develop technical, programmatic, and storytelling content.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's degree or combined experience/education as substitute for minimum education.
  • At least three years of professional experience in nonprofit or higher education advancement/development writing.
  • Experience in public relations, communications, journalism or related field.

**Benefits:**
