About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. This is an ongoing opportunity with flexible scheduling options.

Job Summary

The Radiology Technologist will be responsible for performing computed tomography procedures utilizing General Electric Revolution, Lightspeed, Brightspeed, and HD750 Computerized Tomography Systems according to established operating procedures, clinical protocols, and imaging techniques.

Responsibilities
  1. Performs computerized post-processing of images using reconstruction software appropriate to the pathology or region of interest under investigation.
  2. Coordinates the scheduling of inpatients and outpatients to ensure efficient utilization of CT equipment and personnel.
  3. Maintains equipment safety by performing daily Tube Warm Up and Calibrations on CT scanners.
  4. Communicates equipment issues or concerns to appropriate personnel and/or ILinqs issues directly to GE service.
  5. Obtains patient history and other relevant clinical information; documents all patient information on appropriate forms in preparation for review and dictation by a radiologist.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 12-24 months experience in radiology.
  • A graduate degree from a Radiologic Technology program.
  • Knowledge and understanding of cross-sectional anatomy and CT procedures.
  • Ability to perform all routine CT procedures.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer competence.
  • ARRT Registry (RT) certification.
  • IDNS License.
  • CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
  • IV Certification within 3 months of hire.
Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits including:
