Maintenance Technician II Job Summary
Chart Industries is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician II to join our team. As a Maintenance Technician II, you will be responsible for performing daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment, troubleshooting, and problem-solving activities on all production and facility equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventative maintenance on all plant equipment
- Perform troubleshooting, problem-solving, and countermeasure activities on all production and facility equipment
- Perform mechanical maintenance with frequent electrical (480V, 208V, 120V, 24VDC) and controls-related troubleshooting
- Dismantle machines or equipment using hand tools or power tools to examine parts for defects and repairs or replaces
- Complete daily maintenance paperwork for assigned Work Requests and Checklists
- Assist with installing conduit and wiring for new equipment installations
- Perform special duties as assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager
Requirements:
- Thorough understanding of maintenance troubleshooting for electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic manufacturing equipment
- Working knowledge of 480 Volt 3 phase power, logic controllers, motor starters, and variable frequency drives
- Ability to read and follow written instructions
- Ability to read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings and specifications
- Open scheduling availability
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Trade or Technical school a plus
- Minimum 3+ years of electrical maintenance experience
- 1+ years of experience with manufacturing machine repair, welding machine. Presses, etc.
- 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment desirable

Multiple Shifts Available:
1st: Monday thru Friday- 6am to 3:30pm
2nd: Sunday thru Thursday- 3:30pm to12:30am
3rd: Sunday thru Thursday- 10pm to 6:30am
Differential Pay offered for 2nd and 3rd shifts at +$2.50/hour
