Job Title: CT Technologist

Cleveland Clinic Tradition Hospital is seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team of dedicated caregivers. As a CT Technologist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety of patients and providing high-quality computed tomography imaging services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accurately interpret physician's scanning instructions and administer contrast materials as needed.
  • Prepare and operate CT scan equipment to capture high-quality images.
  • Position patients to ensure optimal image quality and patient comfort.
  • Maintain all aspects of the CT area, including technical and clerical components, to ensure proper quality assurance results.
  • Complete and ensure that all electronic data is sent to its appropriate destination.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
  • Registered Technologist credentialed by The American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) and in good standing.
  • Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required within one year of hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting.
Physical and Mental Demands:

The ideal candidate will be able to work at a fast pace, prioritize multiple assignments, and respond to numerous requests. They will also be able to work collaboratively with other members of the healthcare team and exercise self-control and tolerance when dealing with multiple requests and/or conflicting demands.

The physical demands of this role include sitting, standing, and occasional pushing and/or pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 100 lbs. The work requires finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard at a moderate skill level.

The candidate will also be required to follow Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required for procedures.
