Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you must:

  • Be board certified or board eligible in clinical cardiac electrophysiology
  • Hold a California medical/osteopathic license or be eligible
  • Have a scope of practice that includes 100% electrophysiology, including clinic, device surgery, and EP lab work
  • Be able to travel 1-2 days a week to Kaiser Los Angeles Medical Center for EP lab work
  • Have experience with pacemaker, defibrillator, subcutaneous defibrillator, biventricular/conduction system pacing, and leadless pacemaker device implantation
  • Have experience with electrophysiologic study, supraventricular tachycardia ablation, atrial fibrillation ablation, and PVC ablation
  • Have preferred experience with left atrial appendage closure, ventricular tachycardia ablation, and complex lead extraction
