Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our dynamic healthcare team at Medlife Primary & Urgent Care. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to patients, working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality, patient-centered care to patients in a primary and urgent care setting.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare providers to ensure the best outcomes for patients.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, including ordering diagnostic tests and prescribing medications as needed.
  • Perform minor procedures such as laceration repair, splinting, incision and drainage, wound care, ear irrigation and foreign body removal, pelvic exams, etc.
  • Provide education and counseling to patients on health and wellness topics.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and satisfaction.
Requirements
  • Active Georgia license as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner which allows dispensing of medications and prescribing of controlled substances.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy towards patients.
  • Ability to relate to a culturally diverse group of patients and community.
  • Ability to develop teaching and counseling sessions, as needed.
  • Ability to adapt to changing situations and circumstances.
  • Willingness and ability to assume and delegate the needs of clinic patients, as a member of the health care team.
