We are seeking a dedicated Travel Nurse RN to join our esteemed healthcare team. This role is pivotal in providing exceptional care in our Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Certification Requirements- Mandatory Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Delivering high-quality nursing care in a fast-paced ICU environment.
- Administering and titrating intravenous medications as per protocols.
- Monitoring and interpreting telemetry data.
Applicants must possess:
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in an ICU setting.
- Proficiency in managing patients with complex conditions such as COPD, pneumonia, CVA, TIA, DKA, sepsis, CHF, STEMI, and neurological disorders.
This position includes:
- 12-hour shifts with a guaranteed 36 hours per week.
- Rotating shifts, including every other weekend.
- Holiday shifts may vary based on unit needs.
- Potential for self-scheduling and block scheduling.
Key features of the unit include:
- Nurse-to-Patient Ratios of 1:2, adjusted according to patient acuity.
- 24/7 intensivist coverage.
- Comprehensive orientation tailored to the unit.
We value our nursing staff and provide:
- Support from charge nurses and patient care technicians.
- Continuous critical care coverage.
- Access to E-ICU services staffed around the clock.
- Experience working with advanced equipment such as ventilators and BiPAP machines.
- Uniform requirement: Navy Blue scrubs.
- Floating to PCU and medical floors as necessary.
- Radius Rule: 50 miles from the facility.
