We are seeking a highly skilled Audiologist to join our team at UMass Memorial Health. As an Audiologist, you will play a critical role in identifying, assessing, and managing disorders of human hearing, balance, and other neural systems for neonatal through geriatric populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct comprehensive audiological evaluations, including hearing tests, balance assessments, and neural system evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address hearing and balance disorders.
- Provide audiological rehabilitation, including speech-reading, communication management, language development, and counseling for psychosocial adjustments to hearing loss.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide education and support for patients, families, and caregivers.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and advancements in audiology to provide evidence-based care.
- Master's or Doctorate Degree in Audiology from an accredited institution of higher learning.
- Massachusetts' Audiologist license.
- Attainment of the Certificate of Clinical Competence within six months of date of hire.
- Minimum of 1 year Audiology experience.
