Job Summary

As a CDL B Local Delivery Truck Driver at Sysco, you will be responsible for delivering products to customers in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver products to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Unload products from trailers and place them in designated customer storage areas
  • Verify delivery of products with customers and obtain proper signatures
  • Communicate with customers and management regarding any issues or concerns
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle is in good working condition
Requirements
  • Valid Commercial Driver's License - Class B
  • 1 year of route delivery experience or applicable background driving a straight truck
  • Ability to read and understand English
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb on and off the box of the truck
