Join Our Team as an Occupational Therapist at Rehab America

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Rehab America. As a key member of our rehabilitation team, you will play a vital role in helping adults recover functional abilities and independence after surgery, injury, or medical crisis.


About the Role

The Staff Occupational Therapist is responsible for assessing and treating patients with a range of conditions, including those with physical, cognitive, or emotional impairments. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that promote patient independence and well-being.


Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to determine patient needs and develop treatment plans
  • Implement and revise treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care
  • Supervise and mentor Occupational Therapy Assistants, Technicians, and students
  • Participate in program development and quality improvement initiatives

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • At least one year of experience practicing occupational therapy in a hospital or Home Health setting
  • Graduate of an occupational therapy school approved by the Council of Medical Education of the A.M.A. or its equivalent
  • Current licensure as a Registered Occupational Therapist in the state of Tennessee
  • Current State Driver's License and Auto Liability Insurance
