We are currently seeking a Senior Software Solutions Engineer to join our team. This role supports a hybrid/remote work model, providing flexibility to adapt to our clients' evolving requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop software tools and subsystems that facilitate software reuse and domain analysis, overseeing their implementation.
  • Manage software development and support processes utilizing formal specifications, data flow diagrams, and established design methodologies.
  • Estimate development costs and timelines, while reviewing existing programs to enhance efficiency and performance.
  • Formulate and define specifications for new software applications or modify existing ones, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
  • Oversee program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation, while guiding and reviewing the work of team members.
  • Conduct thorough analyses of newly identified vulnerabilities within the security tool suite, performing gap analyses as needed.
  • Research and evaluate commercial solutions to address identified vulnerabilities, presenting findings in a comprehensive Technical Analysis package.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to procure and implement necessary hardware and software solutions.
  • Prepare Configuration Plans and software enhancement strategies, ensuring seamless integration with user interfaces.
  • Design and implement access controls as part of system solutions, enhancing security measures.
  • Monitor the health and status of security tools, conducting regular maintenance and upgrades to ensure optimal performance.
  • Provide training on newly deployed tool capabilities to authorized users, ensuring effective utilization of the security tool suite.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of experience in computer science or software engineering within programs of similar scope and complexity.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field from an accredited institution is required; additional experience may substitute for educational requirements.
