About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Night Supervisor to join our team at Sunrise Senior Living. As a Night Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in monitoring the health and wellbeing of our residents, providing leadership support, and assisting with hands-on resident care and services.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the health and wellbeing of residents and provide leadership support
  • Assist with hands-on resident care and services
  • Promote the overall wellbeing of residents
  • Ensure quality care and services are being provided and documented in a consistent manner
  • Maintain clinical quality while leading and demonstrating the Sunrise Senior Living mission
Quality Assurance and Regulatory Compliance
  • Strive for excellent quality care and service delivery
  • Demonstrate knowledge of applicable quality improvement areas, including the Resident Centered Care Model and Quality Indicator
  • Participate in Sunrise Quality Assurance & Clinical Meetings
  • Demonstrate knowledge of regulations related to resident care and services, including Residents' Rights and Resident Assessment process
Medication Programs
  • Regularly monitor each resident's medication and treatment profile to ensure accurate administration
  • Accurately transcribe and update physician orders in the resident's electronic health record
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the Six (6) Rights of Medication Pass
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Graduate of approved college/school of nursing
  • Current state license as a professional Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse/Licensed Vocational Nurse (LPN/LVN)
  • Minimum of one (1) year experience in home health, assisted living, hospital, or long-term care environment
  • Demonstrate knowledge of nursing practices, techniques, and methods applied to the health and wellness of the elderly population
