Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Children's Mercy Hospital. As a key member of our Critical Care Unit, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
Responsibilities- Provide respiratory care to patients of all ages, including infants, children, and adults.
- Conduct diagnostic tests and procedures to assess respiratory function and develop treatment plans.
- Administer medications and therapies as prescribed by physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and hospital operations.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
- Current licensure in the state of Missouri.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
