Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical patient care, including taking medical histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering laboratory tests and x-rays.
  • Make preliminary diagnoses and treat minor injuries under the direction of a physician.
  • Perform therapeutic treatments, including wound care, suturing, and minor office procedures.
  • Document patient information accurately and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to provide patient-centered care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must possess excellent clinical judgment, communication, and interpersonal skills. You should also be certified as a Physician Assistant and licensed by the state in which you practice.
