Job Title: Awake Overnight Residential Assistant

Join The Guild for Human Services as an Awake Overnight Residential Assistant and contribute to the well-being of individuals in our care.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to provide overnight support to individuals in our residential program. As an Awake Overnight Residential Assistant, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of our residents, providing support with daily living tasks, and collaborating with our team to create a positive and inclusive living environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Remain awake and alert throughout the overnight shift to provide support and assistance to residents as needed.
  • Complete overnight checklists and reports to ensure accurate documentation of resident activities and needs.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential team to maintain a clean, safe, and positive living environment.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of individualized service plans and daily activity schedules.
  • Implement positive behavior supports and individual behavior support plans to promote resident well-being.
  • Provide supervision and care to residents, including 1:1 responsibilities at all times and locations.
  • Administer and record medications in compliance with MAP guidelines.
  • Transport residents to various locations as needed.
  • Participate in meetings and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of an Associate's Degree or prior experience in lieu of a degree.
  • A valid driver's license.
  • Meet Massachusetts Criminal Offender Record Information (CORI) background check requirements.
  • MAP certification or the ability to obtain MAP certification within the first 90 days of employment.
